Future Of Rail Line Still In Doubt

While there is a proposal for a large rail loading grain facility at the Napa Junction in western Yankton County, there has been little progress on restoring service on the rail line west from there into Charles Mix County.

Todd Yeaton, a member of the state rail board, says they are still pushing for that restoration…

 

Yeaton said the agreement to sell the rail line to a proposed ethanol plant in Wagner has stalled…
