Farmers And Ranchers Alliance Wants To Reach Consumers More Effectively

Anti Ag Activist groups have had success lately reaching consumers in pushing their agenda. Some examples include HSUS reaching pork customers and getting them to ask producers to change production practices like eliminating gestation crates and General Foods recently being encouraged to go to non G-M-O-S.  U.S. Farmers And Ranchers Alliance Executive Director Randy Krotz says that’s a big concern for his group.

Krotz says farmers and ranchers and his group need to do a better job of reaching those consumers with the truthful message about agriculture.

Krotz spoke recently at the South Dakota Corn Growers annual meeting.
