South Dakota sprinter/jumper Teivaskie Lewin was named The Summit League’s Men’s Track and Field Athlete of the Week after winning three events at the Howard Wood Dakota Relays this past weekend. It’s the first time in his career he has received the honor and the sixth straight week a Coyote has received the honor.

Lewin set the league’s new top times in the 110-meter hurdles and the 200, finishing the events in 14.19 seconds and 21.29 respectively. He also helped the 4×100 relay to a win with a time of 41.55. He currently ranks 38th in the NCAA West Region in the 110 hurdles.

The Coyotes are scheduled to compete at the Nebraska Invite on Saturday.
