Bobby Brown – Slopestyle
Bobby Brown is making his first Olympic appearance. The 22-year-old athlete won’t start skiing without first tapping his skis three times, then his helmet, and finally a piece of wood.

Erin Hamlin – Luge
Erin Hamlin competes in her third Olympic Games this year. The Ramsen, New York native has an ice cream sundae named after her.

Shaun White – Snowboarding
Shaun White is a two-time Olympic gold medalist who also plays lead guitar in his band, Bad Things.

Madison Chock – Ice Dancing
21-year-old Madison Chock is competing in her first Olympic Games and has designed the costumes for herself and parter Evan Bates.

Shani Davis – Speed Skating
A two-time Gold medalist, Shani Davis heads to his third Winter Games.

Katie Uhlaender – Skeleton
Katie Uhlaender is making her third trip the Olympics. When she’s not competing, she likes working on her family’s cattle ranch in Kansas.

Bode Miller
Bode Miller will become the first American skier to compete at five Olympic Games.

Lolo Jones – Bobsled
Lolo Jones, also a World Champion track hurdler, joined the U.S. bobsled team to compete in the Winter Games.

Steve Langton – Bobsled
Steve Langton is competing in his second Olympic Games and enjoys making YouTube videos with fellow Olympians.

Mikaela Shiffrin – Alpine Skiing
