Wolters, Iverson Get NBA Call

Area standouts Nate Wolters and Colton Iverson were both drafted and both traded on NBA Draft Night Thursday.

Wolters, the Saint Cloud, Minnesota, native who became the all time leading scorer at South Dakota State, was picked 38th overall by the Washington Wizards. By the time the night was over he was traded to Philadelphia and then eventually to the Milwaukee Bucks.

Iverson, a Yankton, South Dakota, native who played three seasons at Minnesota before completing his college career at Colorado State, ends up with the Celtics. He was drafted 53rd by the Indiana Pacers before being traded to Boston.
