Williams Sits Out

Vikings defensive tackle Kevin Williams remains sidelined with a hyperextended knee.  He sat out Monday’s practice as the team prepares for the regular season opener on Sunday at Detroit.  The Vikings are hopeful Williams will be ready to go against the Lions.  In other team news, the Vikings filled out their eight-man practice squad by signing defensive end Tristan Okpalaugo.
