The Vikings have waived running back Joe Banyard and signed offensive tackle Mike Remmers. Banyard made just one appearance for the Vikings this year after spending all of 2012 on the practice squad. Remmers appeared in one game with San Diego earlier this season, his first NFL action. He entered the league in 2012 as an undrafted free agent out of Oregon State.
