Four members of the University of South Dakota football team and one from SDSU are part of the Missouri Valley Conference All Newcomer squad.

Coyote running back Trevor Bouma and receiver Riley Donovan are on the offensive unit while USD linebacker Auston Johnson and defensive back Jarrid Bryant are on the defensive squad.

South Dakota State defensive tackle Cole Langer was named to the elite team.

Youngstown State running back Martin Ruiz was named the Valley’s Newcomer of the Year and Freshman of the Year.
