United States Meat Exports Finishing The Year Mixed

U.S. meat exports are finishing the year with mixed performance.  U.S Meat Export Federation CEO Philip Seng says lamb sales are up 5-percent by volume and beef is putting in another record year, but pork exports are down.

Seng says a major factor still limiting beef sales globally is market access tied to BSE.

He says the top five countries that still have trade barriers to U.S. beef include Australia, China, Saudi Arabia, Mexico and Russia.
