Twins Stumble In Cleveland

Drew Stubbs lifted a solo homer and walked three times as the Indians dropped the Twins 3-1 at Progressive Field.  Doug Bernier drove in the only run for Minnesota, which has lost seven of its last 10 games.  Jared Burton gave up two runs in the eighth inning to take the loss.

(Minneapolis, MN)  —  The Twins return home to open a three-game series with the Kansas City Royals tomorrow at Target Field.  Kevin Correia gets the ball for Minnesota.  He is 8-and-10 with a 4.52 ERA in 25 starts this season.  KC will counter with James Shields, who is 8-and-8 with a 3.22 ERA.
