Twins Lose In KC

Alex Gordon was 2-for-4 with a home run and two RBI to help the Royals pull out a 5-2 win over the Twins to take two of three in Kansas City.  Brian Dozier collected three hits, an RBI and a run scored.  He finished a homer short of the cycle.  Samuel Deduno allowed 12 hits and four runs to take the loss.  Minnesota is 49-and-62.

The Twins are headed to Chicago where they will open up a doubleheader with the White Sox tomorrow.  The teams are making up an April 19th rainout.  Kyle Gibson will take on John Danks in the opener.  Liam Hendricks will pitch the second game.  Charlie Leesman starts for the Sox.
