Twins Limp Home From Road

The Athletics scored six runs in the second inning and cruised past the Twins 11-7 at the Coliseum, clinching the AL West in the process.  Cole DeVries took the loss for Minnesota after giving up six runs in two innings.  Oswaldo Arcia went 3-for-4 with a three-run homer and six RBI for the Twins, who have lost six of seven.

The Twins close out the final week of the regular season with a seven-game homestand.  It starts tonight with a three-game set against the Tigers followed by a four-game series versus the Indians.  Mike Pelfrey takes the hill for Minnesota opposite Justin Verlander.
