Three state championship crowns were earned Thursday in South Dakota high school football playoff action at the Dakota Dome.

West Central capped the day by handing Madison its first defeat of the year in the 11A title game.

Leola-Frederick also lost for the first time as Potter County claimed the 9A championship, while Bridgewater-Emery-Ethan ran over Arlington for the 9AA trophy
