South Dakota’s Workforce Grows

The Legislative Planning Committee took an extensive look at the state of the workforce in South Dakota at their meeting last week. Committee member, Senator Ryan Maher of Isabel, said they know the numbers are working against us……

Maher says they will take some action that would allow tech schools to do a more effective job of recruiting students…

Maher says it will take a number of years to get worker numbers more in line with growing job numbers……

Maher says the planning committee will meet at least one more time before the 2014 session starts in January.
