South Dakota Fair Foundation Has Good 4H Building Fundraising Start

South Dakota State Fair foundation officials kicked off a very successful fundraiser in efforts to raise $ 4 million for a new 4H Exhibit building. State Fair Manager Jerome Hertel says they gathered together close to $ 1.2 million for the project.

South Dakota State 4H program director Peter Nielson says the close to $ 1.2 million is a great beginning to their funding campaign which gives them optimism going forward.

Nielson says once they have the new building up and running it will not only allow them to have a central place for their activities but will also be beneficial in other ways.

Anyone interested in more information or donating should contact the South Dakota State Fair Foundation.
