South Dakota Delegation Heading To Russia On Trade Trip

Ty Eschenbaum with the South Dakota Department of Agriculture is leading a trade mission to Russia in late October. He says it’ll be focused on beef genetics and he’ll have a pair of producers accompany him. He says it’s a follow-up to last year’s trip.

Eschenbaum says the Russians are trying to build up their beef industry and the government is helping by increasing imports.

Anyone wanting more information on the trade mission is asked to contact the South Dakota Department of Agriculture.
