South Dakota Congresswoman Named As House Farm Bill Conferee

House Speaker John Boehner has named conferees to work on the farm bill with the Senate.  South Dakota Representative Kristi Noem was named as one of the conferees and is the first South Dakota House member named to the panel since 1996. Noem says she’s pleased the House is going to conference and will work to get a five year bill passed.

Other Midwest representatives named to the conference committee include Iowa Congressman Steve King and Minnesota Representatives Collin Peterson and Tim Walz.
