South Dakota Ag Secretary Excited About Governor’s Ag Summit

The South Dakota Governor’s Ag Summit gets underway in Pierre today. State Agriculture Secretary Lucas Lentsch says former Texas Congressman Charlie Stenholm will give the keynote address and attendees will have an opportunity to tap in on his farm bill knowledge as well as his long time experiences as an elected official.

Lentsch says the afternoon session will center on everything from regulations to livestock economic development and value added projects.

Lentsch says Governor Daugaard will give the luncheon speech and participants will have a chance to learn more about the state’s opportunities in China related to his recent trade mission there.
