Sign Up for Healthcare to Begin in SD

Sign up for the federally mandated health care exchanges begins tomorrow across the county, with insurance coverage set to begin on January first.

Several agencies across South Dakota are training navigators that will help people get enrolled.

Darci Bultje  is the Community Services Director for the Rural Office of Community Services, based in Lake Andes. She says they have had lots of interest in the process…………Bultje says they will go out in their twenty two county area in south east and south central South Dakota to answer questions……Bultje says people will sign up online for the insurance coverage they need………

She says they have a couple of people that have completed training, with at least two more in training now. She says details of the types and costs of insurance have not  yet been released to them.
