Showdown At The Dome

State bragging rights will be on the line Saturday as South Dakota State travels to South Dakota for a key Missouri Valley Football Conference matchup.
Kickoff is scheduled for 1 p.m. at the DakotaDome in Vermillion. The game is part of the South Dakota Showdown Series, which is presented by South Dakota Corn.
The 19th-ranked Jackrabbits, who have won their last two games, enter the contest 6-4 overall and 3-3 in league play. In its last outing, Nov. 9 against Indiana State, SDSU recorded a 29-0 shutout victory.
South Dakota, meanwhile, enters the week with a 4-6 overall record and 3-3 mark in the MVFC. The Coyotes will be playing their third consecutive home game against a ranked opponent, following narrow losses in the final minutes to both Youngstown State (34-38 ) and Montana (27-31).
