Short Session, But Lots To Do

The upcoming session of the Nebraska legislature is the so called “short” session of sixty days, which is scheduled to run into late April.

A two year budget passed last year takes most of those discussions off the table.

Senator Tyson Larson of O’Neill is a member of the Appropriations Committee. He says they still have a lot of financial discussions with many state agencies…

Larson says even though they will not be writing a budget this year, they still have a full agenda…

The Nebraska session begins on January 8th.
