The US Senate passed an immigration reform bill last week on a vote of 68 to 32. It now moves on to the House, with an uncertain future.

South Dakota Senator John Thune, who voted against the bill, said it was not balanced…………… 

Thune says while some ag businesses need more workers, and support more immigration, some workable solutions to that were rejected………… 

Thune says while there is some concern about political power connected to about eleven million undocumented workers, it is not their top worry……
