SDSU Women Host League Foe

The South Dakota State women’s basketball team (9-7, 0-0) begins its seventh season of Summit Leauge play Thursday when it hosts IUPUI (10-5, 0-0) at 7 p.m.at Frost Arena.

The Jackrabbits will be protecting the nation’s 18th-longest home winning streak and looking to snap a three-game losing streak. SDSU dropped to 1-2 vs. ranked teams when it lost at No. 2/2 Notre Dame, 94-51, Jan. 2.

The Jaguars enter Thursday’s game on a modest two-game winning streak after beating Youngstown State, 66-57, Jan. 4 in Ohio.

South Dakota State is ranked 19th in the latest CollegeInsider Mid-Major poll.
