SD Retailers Look for Positive Returns

The rush is on with Thanksgiving and Black Friday setting the stage for Christmas shopping.

Shawn Lyons, Executive Director of the South Dakota Retailers Association, says they surveyed their members, and while there may not be one hot item this year, there is still a lot of demand………

Lyons says they also heard a lot about gift cards…………

Lyons says while many retailers are being criticized for opening on Thanksgiving and other types of sales tactics, people have to remember the importance of this last month………..

National projections look for about a three percent increase in sales over last year.
