SD Legislators Hear Road Complaints From Counties

State legislators are hearing from county commissions about their road issues, and lack of money to fix them.

Representatives from northeast South Dakota met in northern Brown County last week.

Representative Susan Wismer of Britton says the timing may not be good to funnel more money to counties………

Wismer says while long term wet conditions have caused road damage in that region, counties have responded in different ways…

Wismer, a member of the Appropriations Committee, says they may have to find more options for local governments……
