SD Legislative Committee To Talk About Education Funding

The Education Funding Formula Study Committee of the South Dakota Legislature meets again Monday in Pierre.

The committee will take some time to talk about their suggested recommendations.

Committee member, Senator Billie Sutton of Burke says he hopes there are a lot of them…………

Sutton says they have had considerable discussion about teacher pay. He says they know the state is losing what the calls the “best and brightest” from the state universities to other states………

Sutton says he hopes they can come up with some solid ideas for the 2014 legislature………….

 

He says they may meet again before the start of the session in January.
