SD Legislative Committee Still Dealing With Drainage Issues

The Regional Watershed Advisory Task Force of the South Dakota legislature will meet Monday in Pierre.

The committee was created to study drainage, watershed management, erosion and other related issues.

Senator Tom Jones of Viborg says the task force has been working off the failed legislation in last years session………

Jones says local governments are going in different directions on water and drainage policy…………

Jones says the state may have to, at the very least, offer some overall coordination…………..

 

The task force is in the second of its projected three year run.
