Schools Sharing

Several school districts in north east Nebraska are exploring potential sharing arrangements. School boards from Hartington Public, Newcastle and Wynot held a special meeting last week, with the Ponca school board observing.

Hartington Public Superintendent Randy Anderson said they got results of a consultant’s study………… 

Anderson said the report shows the problem of shrinking student enrollment would continue no matter the shape or size of any merged district…………

Anderson said each school board will do their own review and then decide if they want to continue any discussions…………..
