School Board Plans Improvements

The Yankton School Board approved a “design build” project that will replace and upgrade heating and cooling units in a number of buildings.

Superintendent Dr. Wayne Kindle said they started with a list of potential improvements…

 

Business Manager Jason Bietz said they have applied for a zero interest loan from the state for part of the costs…

 

Bietz said they can finance the project with the loan and out of capital outlay funds…

 

The project also includes asbestos removal and abatement at the middle school.
