Nebraska Governor Dave Heineman proposed an ambitious tax reform plan to this year’s Unicameral which would have done away with the states personal income tax. It failed, but the Governor says he is still pushing for change……

Heineman says he still hears the call for lower taxes…

Heineman says the tax modernization committee will hold hearings around the state where the public can tell Senators what kind of changes they want to see………

Those committee hearings are scheduled through October.
