Royals Celebrate Success

The Royals are celebrating their most successful season on the diamond in nearly a quarter century.  KC finished 86-and-76, seven games out in third place in the American League Central.  The 86 wins represents the most by a Royals team since the 1989 club won 92 games.  It’s their first winning season since the 2003 team went 83-and-79.
The Royals closed out 2013 with a 4-1 win over the White Sox.
