River Study Extended

The public comment period for the Ponca-Niobrara Land Protection Plan has been extended to the end of September. The US Fish and Wildlife Service and the National Park Service are looking at conservation plans along the Missouri River from near Ponca State Park to the west end of Lewis & Clark Lake. Wayne Nelson-Statsny (stass-knee) with the Fish and Wildlife Service says they have identified their target areas…

Nelson-Statsny says they want to work with landowners and those interested along the river…
