Questions Over Investigations Continue

While Attorney General Marty Jackley says the investigation into the death of former state economic development director Richard Benda is over, questions continue around the investments tied to Northern Beef Packers.

Senate Majority Leader Tim Rave of Baltic says they need to let the process continue…

Jackley found that Benda had double billed the state for some plane tickets connected to economic development trips.

Rave says the legislature should take a look at the details they have so far…

Rave says public – private partnerships may need another look…

A federal investigation into the EB-5 visa for dollars program is also underway.
