Positive Outlook For Holiday Sales

South Dakota businesses should see sales gains this holiday season over last year. That’s the projection of the Retailers Association.

Executive Director Shawn Lyons…

The survey by state retailers show thirty nine percent of the businesses responding expect sales to be up from last year.

Lyons says that is a positive change from last year…

Lyons says there will be a continuing impact on west river retailers from the early October blizzard that killed thousand of head of livestock…

Lyons says their survey shows consumers are looking for good products and quality, instead of the lowest price.
