Platte Livestock’s Rollover Auction Nets $ 85,000 For Ranchers Relief Fund

Platte Livestock’s Rollover Auction Nets $ 85,000 For Ranchers Relief Fund

This week’s Rollover Heifer Auction in Platte, South Dakota this week raised $ 85,000 for the Ranchers Relief Fund.  Platte Livestock’s Alvie Timmermans says the response was incredible.

Timmermans says farmers, ranchers, businessmen and others all generously contributed to help those West River producers hurt by last month’s blizzard.

Timmermans says while farmers and ranchers normally compete and bid against each other at times, when it comes time to help someone else, they’re the first to come forward with a donation or help.
