Peterson Gets Checkup

Peterson Gets Checkup

Vikings running back Adrian Peterson does not have a Lisfranc injury.  Peterson is heading to a specialist for more tests on his injured foot, but the running back says the initial round of evaluations have ruled out a Lisfranc injury.  Head coach Leslie Frazier says they will wait for tests before deciding on a course of action.  Backup running back Toby Gerhart is day-to-day with a strained hamstring.

The Vikings have placed tight end Kyle Rudolph on injured reserve with a fractured foot.  Rudolph suffered the injury in Minnesota’s 27-23 loss to the Dallas Cowboys on November 3rd.  The third-year Notre Dame product recorded 30 catches for 313 yards and three touchdowns in eight games this season.
