NFU Asking Congress To Finish Farm Bill And Support RFS And COOL

Tuesday, Over 300 National Farmers Union members took to the hill lobbying Congress on three major priorities.  Vice President of Government Affairs Chandler Goule says their main message to lawmakers is get to work and complete the farm bill.

Goule says Congress has the time it needs to finish the farm legislation even though the September 30 deadline is looming. He says there’s more time than that for them to work with.

He says their other two messages to Congress is to keep the Renewable Fuel Standard intact, don’t tweak it or repeal it and to leave Country of Origin Labeling alone.
