New Plans For Vets Home

Plans for a new state Veterans Home in Hot Springs are in the process of being redrawn. Lieutenant Governor Matt Michels says a work group is meeting (today) to come up with a new design that will fall inside their budget…

Bids for the new facility had come in over ten million dollars over budget. Michels says they plan to reshape the building to cut costs…

Michels says there was never a consideration given to move the home out of Hot Springs…

Michels says they want to have the completed plans, with bids in hand when the 2014 legislature meets in January.
