New Commissioner Sworn In

The Yankton County Commission filled a vacancy by appointing John Harper at their meeting.

Harper replaces Commissioner Mark Johnson, who resigned last month to take a job with Trans Canada in Omaha.

Harper says he sees roads, especially connected to proposed development at Napa junction as an issue for the commission…

 

Harper says he is interested in working with zoning and development for the county…

 

The seat will be up for election in November, and Harper says he is interested in extending his stay on the commission…
