Nebraska Sales Tax Revenues Higher

State tax receipts in Nebraska finished the fiscal year strong with a robust June.
State Tax Commissioner Doug Ewald reports gross corporate income tax came in 19-percent above forecasts…with individual income tax receipts nearly 11-percent above forecast, leading to strong gains across-the-board. . .

The net receipts…once tax incentives and refunds are calculated…came in 7-point-7 percent above the forecast at 390-Million dollars in June. Ewald notes the latest figures indicate the economy is coming back….

For the year, the state pulled in a bit more than 4(B)Billion dollars, 7-point-6 percent above forecasts.
