Nebraska farmers are anxiously Awaiting Crop Production Report

Nebraska farmers are anxiously awaiting the August 12th U-S Department of Agriculture Crop Production Report. U-S Department of Agricultural Statistics Service spokesman Joe Prusacki (per-SOCKY) says thousands of farmers are now being surveyed and that data will be used in the upcoming report.

Prusacki says there is another U-S Department of Agriculture survey in the works. This one is the Objective Yield Survey where they will look at yields in more than 900 corn and soybean plots. Here is where officials will get their first look at plant condition, grain weights and harvest loss.
