Mauer On Winning Side

Ten pitchers combined for a three-hitter as the American League defeated the National League 3-0 in the 84th annual Major League Baseball All-Star Game at Citi Field in New York.  Joe Mauer went 1-for-2, while Glen Perkins did not appear in the contest.  The AL snapped a three-game losing streak to the NL and will have home field advantage in the World Series.
