Lewis & Clark Water Project Looking for New Funding.

Member cities of the Lewis & Clark Regional Water System are talking about alternative funding as a way to restart construction of the regional project. Construction has stopped because federal funding has dried up.

Project Executive Director Troy Larson says the board will have some proposals before them next month………Larson says terms of the loan would be pretty simple……Larson says it could be a divisive issue for board members………

The water project is about half done, and is supplying water to some members in South Dakota. Iowa and Minnesota customers have not yet been connected to the pipelines.
