Legislators Meet With Superintendents

Legislators from District 16 in south east South Dakota met this week with school superintendents to preview the 2014 legislative session.

Senator Dan Lederman of Dakota Dunes says consistent funding was top of the list as always…

Lederman says they also expect to have discussion on policy, including Common Core education standards…


Lederman said they met with superintendents from Alcester-Hudson, Beresford, Canton, Dakota Valley and Elk Point-Jefferson.
