Judges To Appear On Ballot

South Dakota Supreme Court Chief Justice David Gilbertson has created the Special Committee on Judicial Election Campaign Intervention.

Voters next November will be asked to vote on all forty one of the state’s circuit court judge positions, and the committee will be a resource for candidates.

John Blackburn, a Yankton attorney is a member of the committee, and says they are there to settle questions among the candidates…
