Jacks Host SIU For Hobo Day

Jacks Host SIU For Hobo Day

The South Dakota State University football team will attempt to end a two-game losing skid as it hosts Southern Illinois Saturday afternoon in the 100th Hobo Day game.
Kickoff is scheduled for 2 p.m. at Coughlin-Alumni Stadium.
Both teams are coming off home losses on the opening weekend of Missouri Valley Football Conference action. The Jackrabbits, 3-2 overall, were shut out, 20-0, by top-ranked North Dakota State on Sept. 28.
Southern Illinois, meanwhile, dropped a heart-breaking 28-27 decision last week to Youngstown State. The Salukis enter Saturday’s game with a 2-3 overall mark.
