Nebraska is three spots higher in this week’s “USA Today” top-25 college football poll.  The Huskers climbed from 24th to 21st following a 44-7 win at Purdue on Saturday.  Alabama remains number-one at 6-and-0, getting 58-of-62 first-place votes.  Oregon is ranked number-two, followed by Ohio State, Clemson and Florida State.

The Huskers gained more votes in the Associated Press poll but remain out of the top 25 in those ratings.
