Growth Energy Launches Ad Campaign Challenging Oil Industry

Monday, Growth Energy officials unveiled a new advertising and grassroots campaign to defend renewable fuels and the RFS against oil industry attacks. Growth Energy CEO Tom Buis says the aim of their “You’re No Dummy” campaign is to tell consumers the true story of renewable fuels and bring out false claims of the oil industry that want to dismantle it for their own profits.

Buis says they know they have an uphill fight in defending the RFS and renewables but are committed to giving consumers what they want.

He says they’ll be advertising on radio and television, in print publications and on web sites and social media
