Minnesota Golden Gophers linebacker Lamonte Edwards has reportedly been kicked off the team. The “Star Tribune” reports Edwards was booted from the team for a violation of team rules. According to a search warrant, Edwards was arrested for stealing an iPhone from the U-of-M weight room. Charges are pending.
