Yankton School Superintendent Dr. Joe Gertsema will be leaving that office this week, moving to Sioux Falls. He said at this week’s board meeting, that it has been a good run…

He says watching students achieve and become successful has been the best part of his job…

Gertsema says he will be teaching part time at the University of Sioux Falls this fall. Current Yankton High School Principal Dr. Wayne Kindle will move into the Superintendent’s office later this week.
